No Way Home – “If you get off on the wrong track, it’s hard to make your way back,” says the older gentleman in this photo. The January 24 point-in-time count identified 385 unsheltered persons experiencing homelessness in Tucson and Pima County Arizona. Forty-five of them were under age 24. The annual census of unsheltered homeless persons, funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, does not account for those staying in shelters, couch surfing with family or friends, or living in temporary or long-term supportive housing.
